For a number of years I am gathering prayers coming from various Christian traditions. I have used them in different ways and in varied circumstances in my ministry. Now, following suggestions from some of my friends, I have decided to put these prayers at the disposal of the public.
I called the website ‘Prayers for A Pilgrim Church’ because I do not have a triumphalist nor an escapist vision of the Christian life, but believe in an ambiguous ‘already, but not yet’ view of the Kingdom. It is this perspective that inspires most of the prayers I share with you here.
I must confess that I do not remember the source of each and everyone of these prayers. So, if you know that any of these are copyrighted, please point that to me at my email address. Thanks.
I really hope that these prayers will minister to you at least to the same extent they did to me and my friends and colleagues.
